Unless any tweaks or changes to the stepcharts... This is probably the second to last entry in the version histories. Things to do: * Get the final BG & Banner images * Even more playtesting... You can never do too much playtesting... unless it conflicts with deadlines. ^_^ Version 1.0 -- Final Release Mix ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * Everything finalized for submission... Although the artwork could have been better & we missed the deadline for Bracket 1, but the cosmos tended to be against us. I hope everything goes well in Bracket 2. It was a great project attempt (at least in my opinion) & I hope that I'll be able to do another project like this... if I'm crazy enough to go through this again with my friends. Next time, I'll likely look for a song that could be edited more easily to work with StepMania. I have to thank my development team again for their help on this project... as well as putting up with all my periodic nagging online. First of all, I have to thank Wheelz of Optimus Prime for the usage permission for the song. Without him, this project wouldn't have started. Next, I have to thank Pelord many times over for actually editing the song down to the time specifications. It was painful to cut around a minute from the song that we love, but his audio expertise made the difficult task into a good, usable song that didn't sound like a bad hack (unlike the edits that were done to MC Frontalot's songs in In The Groove... just take a listen to his songs from his site & compare them with the game versions). Finally, I have thank BigBadBoo for the artwork that's used for this song. If it wasn't for him, I would be scrambling to make crappy sketches that probably nobody would comprehend. I could stroke my own ego here, but with all nagging & the secret sucking up to my team (which they're probably noticing as soon as they read this), it's just better for me to be humble. For those who actually read these files, thank you for putting up with my BS here. The version history here is pretty much my chronicles of this project as I've written everything in this ReadMe file as the project progressed. Well, that's a rap for this song! It'll be a miracle if we get actually win any prize for it. ~TStodden Project Manager November 05, 2007 PS: See the "Final Word(s)" for possible future projects. C) Contact information ------------------------- For those who would like to make a comment on the song, feel free to drop a PM on the StepMania forums (TStodden) for fastest response. I'll be notified when a new PM arrives via e-mail, which I'll check immediately... or at least the next time I get online. Alternatively, you could e-mail me at TStodden@hotmail.com with "StepMix 3" in the subject line... but it could take around 4 weeks to respond (if it stays out of the junk folder) as it's a secondary address & I don't check it often. Any comments towards any other member of this song (except Optimus Rhyme) can be directed to me, which will be forwarded to the appropiate person. Pardon me for being a bit protective with my development team, but they're more willing to talk to me than strangers. D) The Final Word(s) ----------------------- For those who are might actually become a fan of my work from this... here's some songs that I might work on in the future. However, this is just a wish list & may not become a reality for a while... * "Crime Spree" by MC Frontalot (Permission Pending on song version) Need to obtain the CD / Legit version of the song... Front won't let me use the Demo version from his website due to "beats of questionable legal stance" in it. * "Download this Song" by MC Lars I love this song, with it's celebrity feature. However, I'll have to cut around 2 minutes to fit into StepMania. This is line 306 & the end of the file... Autobots, ho!
